This course is designed to help you learn about New Jersey's earliest history through statehood. In four sessions, we will discuss the history and records of the East Jersey Board of Proprietors and the Council of West Jersey Proprietors from the 1680s through 1702 and the Colonial government focusing on the history of the colony, land and tax, estate/probate, and religious records to the early 1800s.
The live 75-minute presentations are scheduled for March 13, 20, 27 and April 3. Each session will feature Q&A after the presentation. Recordings will be available for 14 days after the presentation date.
